Head Coach/Program Director Alfred Wilson was a medic in the Army for 10+ years and is currently in the reserves. He’s been CrossFitting for six years and been teaching one thing or another since he was in the military. "I also always liked the idea of being in the gym as a high school athlete rather than actually doing the event," he says. "As a paramedic, I got to get a really good understanding of how the body worked and disease processes. I also noticed that in myself when I was fit, I wasn't really sick at all - that if you could maintain a sustainable level of fitness it would have a positive impact on your health. I want to share this with people in a way they could understand and in a way that would empower them to take charge and be accountable for themselves and their health rather than always relying on a doctor or medicine to do it for them. So, here I am."
